1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how ImaginationAI and its affiliated entities (“FemVerse” or “we” or “us”) collect, store, use, transfer, and share personal data from our users (“you”) in connection with the FemVerse mobile application (the “App”) and the Femverse website (the “Website”) (all collectively, the “Services”).
ImaginationAI is the data controller for the Services.
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If the changes are material, we will do our best to notify you by email or through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Services after this policy has been updated indicates your acceptance of the changes made. In some cases, you may be asked to review and accept changes to this policy to continue using the Services.
Please review this policy periodically. The latest version will always be available on our Website and in the App.
3. How and Why We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate, improve, and personalize our app. Here’s how:
- To Provide Core App Functionality: We use your health data to power the app’s main features, such as predicting your next period and fertile windows, calculating your due date, and providing week-by-week guidance during pregnancy.
- To Personalize Your Experience: Your data allows us to create and suggest personalized wellness tips and other recommendations.
- To Train Our AI Models and Improve the App: We use data to train our AI/ML models to enhance our predictions and features. When used for these purposes, data is anonymized and aggregated to protect your privacy. Some generic data, like symptom patterns, may be retained to improve personalization for all users.
- To Communicate With You: We use your contact information to send you important notifications, such as password resets, medication reminders, and wellness tips, through email and push notifications.
For Analytics and Performance: We use data for debugging, system improvements, and performance monitoring to ensure our app is running smoothly.
4. Who We Share Your Information With
We do not sell your personal data. We only share it with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate our app. These include:
- Cloud Infrastructure Providers: We use services like Digital Ocean for our backend infrastructure and cloud storage for your data and documents. Our primary database is PostgreSQL, and we use other services like Redis for performance caching.
- AI & Machine Learning Partners: Some of your health data is processed by our AI service providers, such as Google Cloud Vertex AI, to power our predictions and personalized recommendations. Your data is not stored permanently by these providers for their own purposes.
- Authentication & Communication Partners: We use services like Google OAuth for social logins and SendGrid for email delivery.
Legal Requirements: We will only share your data if required by law, such as in response to a court order.
5. Data Security and Retention
- Security: We use strong, industry-standard security measures to protect your data. This includes encrypting passwords, using HTTPS for all communications to prevent eavesdropping, and implementing security protocols to protect against SQL injection and other vulnerabilities.
- Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active to provide you with our services. When you deactivate your account, it is soft deleted, meaning the account is inactive, but your data is retained for continuity purposes. History of conversations with our AI assistant currently does not have an automatic deletion policy.
6. Your Privacy Rights
We are committed to providing you with control over your personal data. In accordance with privacy laws like GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal information.
- Correction of your personal data
If you believe your personal data is inaccurate, you have the right to contact us or to update your information directly through the app’s settings to have it corrected. - Restriction of processing
You have the right to request that we restrict the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, for example, if you contest the accuracy of the data while we are verifying it. - Access to your personal data
You have the right to request information about the personal data we process about you and to receive a copy of your data. - Right to data portability
You have the right to request your personal data in a portable format that allows you to move, copy, or transfer it for your own purposes. - Erasure of your personal data
You have the right to request that we erase your personal data. You can do this by deactivating your account in the app’s settings. Please be aware that our current system uses a “soft delete” mechanism, meaning your account will be deactivated, but your data is retained for continuity purposes. - Objection to the processing of your personal data
You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. As noted by our AI team, you are given the option to opt out of your data being used for personalization or AI model improvement at any time.

If you would like to exercise your right to request the erasure of your personal data, you can do this by deactivating your account in the App’s settings.
We will address your request within 30 days of receipt. Please note that it may take longer in some cases, for example, for the full erasure of data stored in our backup systems. We will let you know if we need more time and explain the reasons for the delay.
7. Children's Privacy
General Age Limitation: The Services are not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years old. If you are aware of anyone under 13 years old using the Services, please email us at [email protected] and we will take the required steps to delete such information and/or delete the child’s account.
Age Limitation for Residents of the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom (UK), and Canada: Due to legal requirements, we do not allow the use of the Services by residents of the EEA, UK, or Canada younger than 16 years old. If you are aware of anyone younger than 16 using the Services, please email us at [email protected], and we will take steps to delete such information and/or delete the child’s account.
8. International Data Transfers
Our servers are located in Digital Ocean data centers, with the default location being in the USA. Some AI data processing may also occur in Google Cloud’s US-Central1 region. By using our app, you consent to your data being transferred to these locations.
9. Communication With You
We may contact you from time to time via email, pop-ups, or push notifications to communicate with you about our Services, offers, promotions, and events. We may also provide news and information that we think will be of interest to you. These communications will be personalized and may be based on the app features you engage with and the goals you have selected.
Opt-out options: You can always opt out of receiving marketing emails by unsubscribing via the “Unsubscribe” link contained in the email. Opting out of these marketing emails will not end the transmission of essential service-related emails, such as password resets or account verification messages, which are necessary for your use of the Services. You may also opt out of receiving push notifications at any time by adjusting the settings on your mobile device.
Please note that we may contact you with information about our Services and offers via third-party platforms, like social media.
Presence on Social Networks
We may use social media platforms to engage with our users. When you interact with us on these platforms, we may process information such as your username and any comments or posts you make related to FemVerse for the purpose of engagement.
